Heather Knight
From turning down an offer to study at the Cambridge University to becoming one of her England's most accomplished female cricketers today, Heather Knight's career has had many incredible highlights. The allrounder initially started off as a batsman at the domestic level, playing for the Devon county team. Knight made her WODI debut in March 2010 against India, followed by her WT20I debut later that year. Early in 2011, she played her maiden Test at Sydney against Australia. Beyond her consistent contributions with the bat and ball, Knight's captaincy has been a true standout - she led her side to the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup title. Unsurprisingly and deservedly so, she was named as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2018. Heather Knight has also made her presence felt in the WBBL, as part of the Hobart Hurricanes - both as player and captain.
In 2016, she became the first female cricketer to score a half-century and take a 5-wicket haul in an ODI innings.
